Acceptable Use Policy
How WhatsApp messaging with VPmessage must be used — built around consent.
This is a starter template provided by VPmessage by ViralPlus Bharat for convenience only. It is not legal advice. The business must review and adapt it with its own qualified legal counsel before it is published or relied upon.

This Acceptable Use Policy explains how VPmessage may and may not be used for messaging. It applies to everyone who uses the product to send WhatsApp messages. Because VPmessage runs on the official WhatsApp Business Platform, your use must also follow the rules set by WhatsApp and Meta.
Consent and opt-in come first
Only message people who have given you clear, prior consent to be contacted on WhatsApp for the purpose you are messaging about. You must:
- Keep a record of how and when each contact opted in.
- Make it easy to opt out, and honour opt-out requests promptly.
- Only send content that matches what people agreed to receive.
No spam or unsolicited messaging
Do not send bulk, unsolicited or unwanted messages. Do not message purchased, scraped or otherwise non-consented lists. Sending unwanted messages harms recipients, damages your number quality and can lead to your number being blocked.
Prohibited content and conduct
You may not use VPmessage to send or promote:
- Unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive or misleading content, including scams and phishing.
- Harassment, hate speech, threats, or content that exploits or endangers others.
- Sexually explicit material, or content that is otherwise prohibited by WhatsApp or Meta.
- Malware, or content that infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
- Products or services that are illegal or restricted in the recipient’s location.
WhatsApp and Meta policies
You must comply with the policies of WhatsApp and Meta, including the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and the WhatsApp Commerce Policy, as published and updated by WhatsApp. Message templates are reviewed and approved by WhatsApp, not by VPmessage; approval, categorisation and any related charges are controlled by WhatsApp.
Your data and privacy responsibilities
You are responsible for handling the personal data of your contacts lawfully, including providing your own privacy notice and meeting consent and data-protection requirements that apply to you. See our Privacy Policy for how this website handles data.
Consequences of misuse
Misuse can have consequences that are partly outside our control, including:
- Lower number quality ratings and reduced messaging limits, as determined by WhatsApp.
- Template rejection, restriction, or suspension of your number by WhatsApp or Meta.
- Suspension or termination of your access for breaching this policy or your agreement with us.
Reporting misuse
If you believe someone is misusing VPmessage, or you received a message you did not consent to, please tell us through our contact page or by email at [support email].
